"She Got Even" "Please Louise" "With All Of My Heart"
(#8) (#9) (#10)

Please Louise is a song that I originally called Stephanie, who was one of my first girlfriends back in junior high.  It's about the innocence of "dating" for someone at that age, and I suppose that meant asking her to go with me, then wanting to "work on our night moves" as Bob Seger said.  So, I've got a song with a slot there to substitute any three-syllable girl's name, which would be good for tailoring to an audience member in a live setting.  I switched it to this title partly because my wife's middle name is Louise, and kind of out of respect for her to not have a song titled after a past girlfriend, and what I didn't share with her is also the fact that by a strange coincidence I happen to have dated several girls who also happened to have Louise as a middle name.  Funny how you remember things like that.  Anyway, this was a riff song, and I honestly don't remember if I came up with the riff before the lyrics or not since it was so long ago that I wrote it.  These are rare for me, release-wise, but I have actually written quite a few riff-based tunes over the years, but this was one of the few that made the cut in my weeding out process.  I had been meaning to record a decent version for over a decade until I finally got around to it.
