Sometimes you write a song that you don't consider to be particularly outstanding, but others tell you it should be released anyway.  I don't know how to describe this song really, but it might be hokey, whimsical, preachy, 60's hippie-ish, and idealistic.  It's not a conversation song or a story song, and it doesn't have a chorus.  It could be that it's one of those songs where the focus isn't necessarily on the lyric, but the imagery combined with the music allows the listener to drift off with their own thoughts.  It is sort of a reminder song to not forget the importance of the simple joys in life I guess.  Something about the message and melody combination is pleasant to the ear, which is why I suppose people like it.
