Lyrics"Under The Sun"
Music & Lyrics by Scott Cooley.
I know you’re out there somewhere, under the sun Waiting to make my dreams come true ‘Cause life’s too cold and hard as it is now Without your love I’m lost and blue When I see you waiting with open arms I’m gonna run I know you’re out there, somewhere, under the sun I know you’re out there somewhere, under the sun Ready to take away my suffering and pain Soon I have a feeling it will be my turn You’ll prove my faith in you is not in vain When I picture myself with you it feels like I’ve won I know you’re out there, somewhere, under the sun
I know you’re out there somewhere, under the sun With the power to ease these burdens I bear I’m wise beyond my years I promise And I’ll never stop showing you how much I care When we’re together at last it’s gonna be so much fun I know you’re out there, somewhere, under the sun

Chronology
Reviews Notes Under The Sun is an uptempo blues ballad about someone hoping to find love out there in the world. It's tough being alone, and this is from that character's perspective. We've all been there before, so we can all relate. It's good to remain confident that there are a lot of fish in the sea, and eventually you'll catch one who is a good match for you. |
