A Matter Of Time

Lyrics

It's just a matter of time

Before it's too hot to ever go outside

If we lose our cool we're gonna die

Oceans will boil and the land will fry

If life's a dream make the best interpretation

If you love wasting it, it's never wasted

Enjoy all you can, try not to worry or cry

You can't go back and change the past on the fly

The future's uncertain, but everything will be fine

As a matter of fact, it's just a matter of time

It's just a matter of time

Before a red button gets pushed by some guy

With no time to say goodbye

Doomsday bombs will nuke the sky

Remember the next time that you feel bored

No amount of money can ever buy you more

Enjoy all you can, try not to worry or cry

You can't go back and change the past on the fly

The future's uncertain, but everything will be fine

As a matter of fact, it's just a matter of time

So give me a kiss before we shatter

'Cause none of this will even matter

Our bliss won't be remembered

No one to miss smoldering embers

They say it can heal all wounds

But the clock's ticking so make your move

We can't flip an hourglass to stay alive

It's just a matter of time

It's just a matter of time

Before a meteor slams down from the sky

One just like the kind

That took the dinosaurs out in the blink of an eye

It can get too late way too soon

Don't be afraid to change your tune

Enjoy all you can, try not to worry or cry

You can't go back and change the past on the fly

The future's uncertain, but everything will be fine

As a matter of fact, it's just a matter of time

Probably the best song on the album.  For an album of "leftover" songs, that's not saying much, but this would've been a good song on any album.  Still happy with how it turned out.
