Dear Friends,

This Just In: You can now "pre-order" my new album, "Used To Be Good Looking" on iTunes here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/used-to-be-good-looking/id878800268, a service I know many of you use for its convenience, and get my new song, "Smitten With The Mitten" absolutely free as a bonus track download. I'm not sure how it works, since I don't use iTunes, but I know it's possible, and I'm just letting you know in case you might be interested.

I am not someone who ever pays for any kind of publicity, promotion, advertising, marketing, playcount fraud, payola, fake "likes", fans, friends or "follows." You'll see that on the major music social media sites and online music stores I have a modest presence, but it's an honest one. In other words, I don't make it look like my music is more popular than it really is so that you will want to jump on the bandwagon and buy my music to "prop up a winner" or whatever you want to call it. I have a real-but-small fanbase and online following, and my album sales match it. I simply hope for enough to cover my costs to record and distribute.

I cannot tell you how much it means to me when I get a legitimate fan who expresses their appreciation for my music. A little goes a long way, and that's what keeps me going with this songwriting/recording hobby of mine.

I wrote the song Smitten With The Mitten to be a modern state song for the State of Michigan, my home state, since hardly anyone knows our official one, which is outdated in many ways. Apparently, it's better than I originally thought, and I've been encouraged by some people who have heard it to officially submit it to the state government for consideration of being designated as such, since many states have multiple state songs.

Additionally, I'm contemplating sending it to music teachers in schools, and also having a children's choir record a version of it at the recommendation of a few trusted individuals who have heard it and tell me it's worthy.

To read more about the song, see it's respective page within my website here: Smitten With The Mitten. In exchange for your email address, I'm also giving this one away for free if you sign up for my Mailing List or via signup on Noisetrade. When I'm not around anymore, I would love it if my music could still be enjoyed by people. Who knows, this one might have that kind of potential.
